The University of Sheffield has recently invested over £160million in refurbishing its current facilities and creating two new conference and accommodation villages equipped with flexible meeting space, café, bar and dining facilities and over 4,000 en-suite bedrooms.
Situated in a quiet residential area, The Endcliffe Village boasts two first class venues, The Edge and Halifax. Opened in 2007, The Edge offers excellent bar and entertainment facilities and flexible event space including one large room for up to 300 delegates theatre style. Refurbished Victorian mansion Halifax, reopened in November 2008, provides a truly sophisticated setting for a variety of events with an excellent selection of small and large meeting rooms.
The purpose built Ranmoor Village offers stylish bedrooms as a great value alternative to local hotels, with year round availability until September 2010. The Ridge, Ranmoor Village’s conferencing centre, boasts three contemporary conference rooms, with a capacity for up to 150 delegates. With state-of-the-art equipment, free parking and award winning catering and bar facilities, The Ridge offers a perfect residential conference and accommodation venue.
Main campus facilities remain available including the Octagon Centre for up to 1,250 delegates, the prestigious Firth Court and numerous other lecture theatres and seminar rooms. The University is able to offer fully inclusive packages for between 10 and 1,250 delegates in a range of venues making it ideal for your next event.
